A Table !!! - 2024 - Fabien Jouves
Mas del Périé
A rosé that’s almost a red, with hints of thyme and cherry. On the palate, this is some atypical, spicy juice, wandering between citrus and red fruits, and ending on a lingering finish.

A blend of Malbec and Merlot, from vines around 25 years old, farmed organically, and planted on clay-limestone slopes at altitude. All vineyard work and harvesting is done by hand, and the vinification is natural. This wine is a blend of direct-press (both of destemmed and whole clusters) and of rosé de saignée begins with a light maceration of the skins with the juice, followed by 6 months of maturation on lees, in concrete vats and in stainless-steel tanks. Wine neither fined nor filtered, just a micro-dose of sulphur.

His estate is certified organic by Ecocert and...
