A complex and always evolving nose, first on blackcurrant and blackberry, then carried by spices, pepper, a floral hint with violet notes. Palate: a lot of structure, tight tannins, luscious finish on cocoa aromas. It will do wonders, it just needs to stay for a little while in your cellar.

78% Petit Verdot and 22% of various grape varieties from vines grown organically and planted on a South-facing hillside, superficial brown clay soils on a bedrock from the Jurassic era. Manual harvest on October the 5th. Maceration of the crushed whole bunches, until November the 15th, 2019. Soft pressing, 18 months of aging in stainless steel vats. 130 bottles produced, bottled by gravity in December 2021. Not fined, not filtered, without added sulphites.
Didier Mouton
Didier Mouton is a vigneron in the Corrèze region of south-western France. There, since 2001, he has owned a micro-estate, and since 2006, vinifies his own wines. With a little more than 1 hectare, producing 800 bottles a year, we are talking here about an impassioned gardener.
