Uchida
A floral and fruity nose, with blackcurrant, undergrowth, violet. Palate: the juice of the Merlot perfectly balances out the tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon, for an aromatic fullness particularly powerful and fresh, enhanced by a fine length.

Blend of 50% of 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% of 2021 Merlot, from organically conducted vines and planted a few metres away from the Château Mouton Rothschild. Natural vinification without any additives, indigenous yeast. A year of élevage in 500-liter wooden barrels of several wines for the Cabernet Sauvignon, and just a few months for the Merlot. Both vintages were blended right before the bottling in February 2022. Unfined, unfiltered, just a microdose of sulphur added during bottling.
Osamu Uchida
Osamu Uchida, born of the 1977 vintage, grew up in Hiroshima but was educated in French culture from a very young age – his parents were wine merchants! He was barely in his twenties when he decided to head off to the land of Molière to immerse himself in French language… and wine! By the end of his first stay, it was the welcome he’d received from the many vignerons he visited that convinced...
