Alsace
MaGewRie - 2021 - Maylis Bernard
Zéroïne
A subtle maceration that allows both grapes to express themselves perfectly on the nose and palate, without the Gewurztraminer's exuberant profile ever overpowering the Riesling's chiseled minerality. Well done, Maylis!

100% Alsace: 50% Gewurztraminer and 50% Riesling, from organic vines planted in Obernai, a cuvée produced thanks to the purchase of high-quality grapes, harvested by hand of course. Vinification: maceration of the whole bunches for 10 days, alternating layers of each grape variety in the vat, "like a millefeuille cake" ; gentle pressing, end of fermentation and aging for two years in 14 hl wooden casks, without new oak. Bottled without fining or filtration, with no added sulfites.
