Mille Lieux sur Peaux - 2023 - Jérôme François et Morgane Stoquert
La Grange de L'oncle Charles
Second vintage for this cuvée, with notes of citrus fruit, yellow peach, honey and rose. The palate is pure and taut, an orange wine structured by small tannins and a fine bitterness on the finish. Pair it with Asian cuisine!

A blend of 13 Alsatian grape varieties, grown organically and biodynamically, planted between 1970 and 2005 on granite, grey and marl limestone, in the villages of Kaysersberg, Ammerschwihr, Zellenberg, Rodern and Ribeauvillé. Manual harvest. Vinification: 10 days of maceration of the whole clusters, pressing, 12 months of aging in casks that have seen several wines. Bottled at the estate on the 29th of September 2024, without fining nor filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur (added at pressing).
JÉRÔME FRANÇOIS
Jérôme François settled in Ostheim in 2014. The young carpenter couldn’t resist the call of the vine and started his estate with a few plots from his grandfather and the barn of his great uncle! Late 2017, Jérôme teamed up with Yann Bury. The man grows his vines biodynamically, and works the soil not with a tractor but with two horses, Sirus and Fastochex. A flock of black Ouessant sheep...
