Pinot Noir Steiner - 2020 - Jean François Ginglinger
Domaine Jean Ginglinger
A bouquet with elegant, characteristic cherry notes. Tangy and pure on the palate, a very juicy wine although a bit austere in its youth, which will reveal its color all the better in a few years, beautiful aging potential.

100% Pinot Noir from organic and biodynamic vines, planted in 2000 on the Grand Cru Steiner, a great terroir for red wines with its pure limestone soils. Vinification: 6 weeks of maceration in whole bunches, gentle pressing in a vertical press, aging on the lees in barrels that have seen several wines, only two barrels were produced. Bottled in June 2021 without fining, filtration or addition of sulfites. "Grand Cru" doesn't appear on the bottle since Jean doesn't make wines that would pass the agreement, according to the board.
