100% Gamay, of course, from old vines farmed organically, certified Nature et Progrès, and planted on volcanic soils and schist, known the ‘Pierre Bleue’ of Brouilly. The parcel faces southeast and has a 30% slope – in other words, ideal growing conditions. Living soils, harvesting by hand, respect for the grape bunches so as to preserve the indigenous yeasts… Vinification: whole grape bunches, without any additives, one month in vats, carbonic maceration, and 10 months in barrels that have seen several wines.
