Gamay Poursuite - 2023 - Antoine Sunier
Domaine Antoine Sunier
A pursuite of Gamay and the purity of wine! As 2023 is a generous vintage, the nose is reminiscent of Beaujolais, with black cherry and crunchy red berries, while the palate offers lovely complexity and a slender body.

Second vintage for this 100% Gamay from 30-year-old vines labeled organic since 2020, planted on deep granitic soils, on the Regnié appellation but which Antoine automatically classifies as a Beaujolais-Villages. Manual harvest, 7 days of carbonic maceration in whole bunches, in concrete vats, and 8 months of aging in these same vats before bottling at the Estate mid-April 2024. Not fined, not filtered, only 1 gram / hl of sulfur added at bottling.
