Morgon Cuvée Camille - 2023 - Mathieu et Camille Lapierre - Magnum

Domaine Marcel Lapierre

A superb juice, once again, from Lapierre. With notes of kirsch, spices and flowers. A palate full of freshness, very smooth, and a long, floral finish.

100% Gamay from certified organic vines planted on an acidic, poor granitic sand soil. The parcel, covering one hectare, is located on the Côte de Py and faces Southwest. Hand-harvested and carefully sorted. Natural vinification: whole clusters, semi-carbonic maceration for 24 days in truncated wooden vats, with no additives. Aged for nine months in 216-liter barrels, with no new oak. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, with just a micro-dose of sulfur.
