François Rousset Martin

François Rousset-Martin is true Jura's star. Growing up in Beaune, he traveled through the most beautiful Burgundy vineyards from his youth, and very quickly developed a passion for wine. He also inherited the tradition of his grandfather, taken up by his father: “always keep a little vineyard as your garden, make wine for yourself and for the family!”. As a newly graduate in biology and oenology, he got the opportunity to take over some family vines in the Jura, and arrived in Nevy-sur-Seille in 2007, a few kilometers South of Château-Châlon. He rents vines, then buys them over the years to arrive at the current total of 10 hectares. While he was selling his grapes to the coop cellar (while already vinifying 25% of the surface), he made the switch in 2018 and started to vinify his entire vineyard on his own. The cuvées are always sulfur-free, with magnificent results in the bottle... Not to be missed!
