An otherworldly wine with notes of almond and walnut... Palate: relatively well balanced and smooth... A finish with notes of almonds.
Tony Bornard
Tony Bornard is the son of the famous Jura figurehead Philippe Bornard, today retired. They are neighbours of the famous Pierre Overnoy, andhey reside in the oldest building in the village of Pupillin. Tony struck out on his own to quietly create his estate as well in 2013. He then took over the family estate from his father in 2017, merging it together with the estate he’d personally founded to reach a total of 11.5 hectares. Farmed biodynamically, his Poulsard, Savagnin, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines sometimes give rise to experimentations that represent departures from traditional methods, yet they never lose their pure Jurassien spirit! The wines produced are natural, pure, distinguished juice indeed. Eternally exciting wines.
Very exotic aromas – pineapple, mango... Huge tension, extremely pure and precise. A palate that’s powerful and balanced. This represents another approach to Jura's Chardonnay, and an original, truly interesting one indeed.
An expressive nose with notes of rose, cherry, and vegetal aromas. On the palate: magnificent mouthfeel, rich and spicy. A very well-made Trousseau, to be enjoyed for its fruitiness and freshness.
Notes of flowers, pastries and other gourmet aromas... On the palate: pear and toffee, well balanced, this is a fine pairing for your desserts! This cuvée refers to the first biblical drunkenness, when Noah (Noé in French) fell asleep naked and drunk in his vineyards. 50 cl bottle.
You don't have to be a fan of the Jura to fully appreciate this cuvée; it appeals to our senses and our memories to seduce them, and our memory aid (aide-mémoire in french) leads us to raspberry, strawberry, minerality... Lots of purity, guaranteed pleasure for natural wine aficionados.
As its name suggests, a Trousseau worthy of being kept (gardé) in your cellar for a few years! A lovely delicacy that will reveal itself after a short time in your cellar, with its wild, fruity nose and pure, free-flowing finesse on the palate.
A rich orange wine, structured by the amphora, which magnifies and reveals the powerful aromas of macerated Savagnin. Place the bottle upright to let it settle, 30 minutes before tasting.
A pure, fruity Savagnin, with floral and spicy notes, and a hint of walnut... Palate: a clean, precise, well-balanced wine, this is some mouth-watering juice, with lovely acidity, and a long finish.
A rich juice with notes of candied citrus fruits, flowers, almonds, spices, and minerals... Palate: a vibrant and energetic wine, with aromas of citrus fruits, apple, and pear, plus great freshness, and a lingering finish you wish would never end.
