A nose with notes of citrus fruit, white fruit, flint stone, smoke, and divine minerality... The palate is bold, clean and fresh, with beautiful minerality once again, and a long finish with a touch of salt. A sublime discovery – definitely one of our favourites of 2021!
Felix Sebastian
Felix Sebastian is a multi-faceted German winemaker. Born in 1988 in Athens to archaeologist parents, nothing predestined him for winemaking except that he grew up in a family of Epicureans, who appreciate wine and its environment. After high-school, he began studying anthropology, but quickly turned to a bachelor's degree in viticulture and oenology. Having never set foot in an Estate, he decided to participate in several winemakings around the globe, from Spain to Australia and New Zealand. He begins by making wine for his family "when they liked it, I knew it was good" before distributing it to a handful of lucky people. The particularity of Felix is that he is at the head of two organic and natural micro-productions: one in German Moselle and the other one the island of Pantelleria, off the coast of Sicily. Unique juices, which perfectly reflect their terroir and the intention of the winegrower.
