A breath of fresh air for Zéphyr, with citrus, pear, white peach and iodine notes on the nose. Palate: digestible, balanced, fresh, the perfect aperitif wine, with a saline, salivating finish.
Maxime Rozé
Maxime Rozé, originally from Brittany, is the young winemaker at the head of Micro Winerie, an urban winery based in Darwin, the alternative place for ecological transition in the heart of Bordeaux. Initially trained as an agricultural engineer, Maxime first discovered wine and biodynamic viticulture while he was working at Domaine Grosbois in Chinon, and it’s a revelation: he will become an oenologist. After getting some experiences in New Zeland, Argentina and California, he returns to France with just one idea in mind: make his own wine. With no access to land, the wine trade seems to impose itself: organic and qualitative grapes harvested by hands, which will then be vinified in a place steeped in history, once used to store barrels for the Bordeaux wine trade… The circle is complete! This joyful project is all about exchange, short circuits and sharing his passion for wine with as many people as possible; with wines that reflect this place, connected to their terroir and yet in perfect harmony with their time.
