Pierre-Henri Rougeot

Pierre-Henri Rougeot joined his father Marc at the helm of Domaine Rougeot in 2019, becoming the 9th generation of this storied family vineyard in Meursault. Rougeot is a legendary name in Burgundy, with prized plots in Saint Romain, Monthélie, Meursault, Pommard, Volnay… covering a total of 13 hectares of meticulously farmed organic vines. With his hands-on experience at Vicard cooperage, Pierre-Henri is naturally meticulous about the aging process, favoring long élevage with precise barrel toasting. He’s part of this exciting new wave of Burgundian winemakers, passionately applying their deep-rooted convictions to every bottle: gentle, low-intervention winemaking, and a stunning range of sulfur-free cuvées. A true breath of fresh air for the delight of wine lovers everywhere!
