Aromas of pear, white peach, and white flowers, with a mineral backbone. The palate is structured around a tender sensation, yet this is a truly dry wine, mineral and tense. The finish is long and elegant, a true favorite during the tasting.
Collectif Oenosapiens
Federico Bezzi, Filippo Groppi, and Giacomo Bocchio are the trio of friends behind Oenosapiens, a roving collective of oenologists and the fruit of a beautiful friendship. The three young trailblazers met during their studies in Italy: they became oenologists, gained experience in France and abroad, and five years later, found themselves with the will to make wine together. No vines and no winery? No problem! The adventure began with a clear vision: to bring tasters closer to terroirs and grape varieties through a transparent and educational approach (we recommend following them on Instagram!). Oenosapiens’ first vintage was released in 2021 “by friends, for friends.” Today, the collective offers three wines from the Loire, Cahors, and Jura, each crafted with purchased grapes and vinified in the region of origin. This trio is unstoppable, and while they dream of bottling Italian wines one day, we can enjoy their delicious, precise, and captivating wines right now—an absolute must-try.
