Powerful and enticing nose of jammy black fruits, spices, vanilla, and a hint of fine oak. The palate is indulgent and fruity, complex and refined, both concentrated and smooth. Signature length and volume true to the appellation and the Château.
Hélène Génin
Hélène Génin, agronomist and trained oenologist, joined Château Latour in 2007, drawn by Pauillac’s exceptional terroirs and driven by the ambition to reveal their essence. Today, as Technical Director, she has overseen the adoption of organic practices in 2015, followed by biodynamic viticulture, anchoring the estate in a respectful approach where each decision enhances the purity and finesse of its Cabernets. Her keen eye and quest for precision yield wines of intense depth and rare elegance, built for aging. Château Latour, a historic estate and 1855 Premier Grand Cru Classé, embodies under her guidance a subtle balance between tradition and innovation. Thanks to Hélène Génin’s forward-thinking approach, this great Pauillac estate continues to produce legendary wines, true to the Latour spirit, while opening new possibilities for the future.

Candied fruits, leather, cigar box, and wood aromas. The palate is powerful, deep, dense, and full-bodied, phenomenal length. A bottle to wait patiently for, best opened after some time in your cellar, followed by mandatory decanting. The result is sublime in the glass after a few years.
Words may not be enough to describe the tasting emotion when Château Latour is in the glass. Notes of undergrowth, blackcurrant, violet, tobacco, cedar, vanilla, and cocoa emerge... This is a wine to be awaited, followed by mandatory decanting.
