Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau
Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau has been leading the family estate since the passing of his father Didier in September 2008. Located in Pouilly-Fumé, this 12-hectare vineyard is fully dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc, with a focus on expressing the grape’s purity through precise work. The use of indigenous yeasts, tight débourbage, and extended lees aging without racking allows the wines to reflect the terroir and vintage in their truest form. Aging in large 320- and 600-liter barrels enhances complexity, preserving the fresh, mineral character so characteristic of the estate. Dagueneau’s cuvées are rare and exquisite, perfect for connoisseurs of great white wines. The estate also produces Jurançon at Domaine des Jardins de Babylone, a true model of balance.
