In the vigneron’s words: "The nose is redolent of black fruits, with slightly spicy notes. The palate has beautiful structure, it’s rich and concentrated with supple, rounded tannins. A juicy, fresh and luscious wine, to be enjoyed in its youth."
100% Pinot Noir from vines farmed organically and planted on clay and silt soils at two vineyard sites – Les Chaillots and Les Argillières. The grapes are harvested by hand, with careful sorting in the vineyard and in the cellar, and yields of 40 hl/ha. Vinification: after a few days of cold maceration, with 100% destemmed grapes, the wine ferments with indigenous yeasts, some pumping over, and gentle pressing at the end. All the work is done by gravity. Matured in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled at the estate without sulphites.
