100% biodynamic Chardonnay from vines planted on the "Champs Derrières" and "Les Houillères" plots, the latter being located in the commune of Puligny, on limestone soils. The total of the two parcels is 0.67 hectares. Hand-picked, direct pressing, light settling of the must, then racking into barrels with alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in 600 and 228 litre barrels. One year of aging in barrels with a maximum of 20% new barrels, then 6 months of aging in stainless steel vats.

Etienne de Montille personifies the Domaine de Montille, the celebrated estate in Volnay whose origins date back to the 1750s.
