Pinot Noir from 60 to 70-year-old vines planted in Ladoix (zip code 21550) on loamy, clay-limestone soils. The vines are west facing, at 500-metres altitude, across from the Le Cloud vineyard site of Prieuré-Roch. These are living soils, maintained without chemicals or weedkillers, only phyto-therapy. Harvesting is done by hand to respect the grapes and preserve the indigenous yeasts. Vinification: whole bunches, no additives, carbonic maceration, 10 months of maturation in barrels that have seen several wines. No filtration, and no added sulphur.
