DH Blanc - 2021 - Yann Durieux
Recrue des Sens
A nose of unbelievable complexity, with notes of yellow plum, butter, honey, and dried fruits... The palate is well rounded, with a sublime balance between body and acidity, and incredible length. An absolute favourite, more than confirmed during the tasting of this new vintage.

100% Chardonnay, from vines planted on the Dames Huguettes vineyard site, located 500 metres from parcels of Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru vines. Terroir: very shallow soil, only 10 to 20 cm deep, over solid limestone, with the roots growing directly into the bedrock. Manual harvest. Direct pressing, matured for 24 months in barrels that have seen several wines. As always with Durieux, this cuvée is vinified without any additives or sulphites.
