Gevrey Chambertin "En Vosne" - 2018 - Julien Altaber
Domaine Derain

This 100% Pinot Noir comes from vines grown biodynamically on a parcel co-planted with very old vines and others replanted in 2005. Manual harvest. Vinification: grapes are harvested in whole bunches then partially destemmed, foot treaded, followed by a 15-day maceration, fermentation and maturation over 18 months in oak barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
