100% Chardonnay from vines over 65 years old, grown organically and planted on clay-loam soils maintained by ploughing and grassing. Harvested by hand, natural vinification: slow pressing of the whole bunches in a pneumatic press, aging on fine lees in barrels that have seen three to five wines, this cuvee is a blend of the 2018, 2019, and 2021 vintages; thus a long aging period of 12 to 36 months, before blending and aging in vats. Bottled without fining or filtration, no added sulfites.

Philippe Valette represents the third generation of vignerons to run this 8.5 ha estate (15 ha if we count the vines of his brother Baptiste) located in Chaintré, a village on the border between the Mâconnais and Beaujolais appellations.
