Burgundy
A subtle and complex wine, superb from start to finish. The nose boasts exotic buttery notes, with hints of smoke. The palate is smooth and rounded, while the finish is clean and marked by fine acidity.
100% Chardonnay from vines grown organically and planted on two exceptional parcels for a total of just 80 ares, which was first harvested in 1993 – by hand, of course, and with tightly controlled yields. This cuvée, like all of Trapet’s wines, is a hymn to gentleness: respectful viticulture, gentle pressing, working by gravity in the cellar, vinification without additives, patient maturation in wood, and zero sulphur. Bottled at the estate.
