Nose carried by notes of amarena cherry, rosebud, hint of undergrowth... Elegant palate, precise, slightly tannic, lots of freshness. Very beautiful work!
A cuvée produced from purchased grapes, 50 year old vines planted on a 15 ares plot, harvested by the Truchetet team. We are at the bottom of the hillside, in the North of Nuits-Saint-Georges, touching Vosne-Romanée. Low yields, only two 228-liter barrels produced for this cuvée. Vinification: total destemming, 20 days of maceration with some punch downs, settling, put into barrels by gravity, 12 months of maturation in wood then 5 months in vats. Bottled in February 2021.
