Pommard 1er Cru "Les Chanlins-Bas" - 2021 - Maxime Dubuet Boillot
Domaine Dubuet Boillot
A few words from the Estate: "A wine of great concentration and power, with a wild side and a certain nervousness. Unctuous and generous on the palate. The finish is persistent, with ripe, mellow tannins."

Pinot Noir from vines planted on a 10-are parcel, this is the smallest cuvée worked by the estate, on a Climat that juxtaposes the famous Rugiens. Soils of brown and white clays, and small pebbles. Hand-picked, with a very fine selection of small grapes the size of blackcurrant berries, to bring great concentration to the wine. Vinification: 80% of the harvest is destememd, gentle maceration, 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, with half new oak.
Maxime Dubuet-Boillot
Maxime Dubuet-Boillot, child of the 1989 vintage and grandson of a farmer from Corberon and a vigneron from Volnay, first turned his back on his family vineyards before finally returning to them for good. Maxime’s career began not in wine but auto racing, working as a mechanic for The 24 Hours of Le Mans. He pursued that passion for 10 years before heeding the call of his winegrowing roots....
