Pommard "Les Deux Terroirs" - 2022 - Maxime Dubuet Boillot
Domaine Dubuet Boillot
Deep, racy nose with notes of black fruit and blackcurrant berries. Palate: clean attack, ripe, fine tannins, it's powerful yet controlled, a wine of character, very harmonious, with a long finish.

100% Pinot Noir from two geologically opposed terroirs covering a total of 50 ares, combining the climates of Les Poisots, with its rich, clay soil, and Les Lambots, with its poor, predominantly limestone soil. Harvested by hand, with a 5-day difference between the two terroirs, in order to obtain the same degree of ripeness. Vinification: 80% de-stemming, blending of the juices during fermentation, pressing, 14 months of aging in French oak barrels, with 30% new oak.
Maxime Dubuet-Boillot
Maxime Dubuet-Boillot, child of the 1989 vintage and grandson of a farmer from Corberon and a vigneron from Volnay, first turned his back on his family vineyards before finally returning to them for good. Maxime’s career began not in wine but auto racing, working as a mechanic for The 24 Hours of Le Mans. He pursued that passion for 10 years before heeding the call of his winegrowing roots....
