Racines Santa Rita Hills Sainte Rose - 2019 - Etienne de Montille
Domaine de Montille
A cuvée of great finesse and complexity. Ripe red fruit, black cherry, maquis, subtle woody notes. The palate is also very fruity, juicy and concentrated, with a long, unctuous finish. A favorite during the tasting.

A cuvée vinified by 6 hands, Brian Sieve, Rodolphe Peters and Etienne de Montille. 100% Pinot Noir from organic vines planted in the Santa Rita Hills appellation in California. From four parcels: La Encantada, Domaine de le Cote, Sanford & Benedict, and La Rinconada, located along Santa Rosa Road, from which the cuvée takes its name. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with the utmost respect: indigenous yeasts, half destemmed, delicately extracted, aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, with 25% new oak.
