Nuova Descriptio - 2023 - Alice et Olivier De Moor
Alice et Olivier De Moor
Nuova Descriptio is the successor to the former Sans Bruit cuvée. Without the typical varietal aromas... A nose of tangerine, vineyard peach, candied pineapple, and a hint of lemon. The palate is ripe, rich, mineral, almost chalky, with a fruity, tender and soft finish.

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris from a small .4-ha parcel of organically farmed vines planted in the AOC Saint Bris, completed for this vintage with a bit of skin-contact macerated Aligoté, and with three barrels of Chardonnay. Manual harvest when very ripe, followed by gentle pressing, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, maturation in amphorae and barrels that have seen several wines. Non fining nor filtration, just a tiny dose of sulphur.
