A 100% Chardonnay from organic vineyards, a blend of different plots that showcase the diversity of Burgundy’s terroirs, mostly clay-limestone. Hand-harvested, of course. In the cellar: whole bunches get a direct and long pressing, fermentation happens in stainless steel tanks. The malolactic fermentation is done. Aged on lees in tanks. Bottled without fining, respecting the biodynamic calendar, at the right moon phase.
Cyprien Arlaud embodies the third generation of Domaine Arlaud, a relatively young family estate born in 1942 of the meeting and marriage between the Burgundian Renée Amiot and the Ardéchois Joseph Arlaud.
