Champagne
L'ascendant Solera Grand Cru - Sébastien Mouzon
Champagne Mouzon Leroux
Complex, gourmand nose with pronounced notes of brioche, hazelnut, roasted apple and a touch of chalk. Palate: lovely volume, fine, delicate bubbles, lovely freshness for this Champagne that offers a hint of oxidation in retro-olfaction. A safe bet.

60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from biodynamically-grown vines planted on the Montagne de Reims in Verzy, a Grand Cru parcel with clay-limestone soils over flint. Hand-harvested. This is a blend of 50% of the 2018 harvest, and 50% of the harvests from 2017 to 2014. Native yeasts, vinification and ageing on gross lees, this is a Solera-method aging of the L'Atavique cuvée, aged on laths, disgorged in March 2023, without any dosage. Unfined and unfiltered, with very little sulfur.
