100% Pinot Noir from vines grown biodynamically and following an agroforestry approach, planted on the Montagne de Reims in Verzy, a Grand Cru parcel with clay-limestone soils over flint. Harvested by hand. Vinification: indigenous yeasts, vinified and aged on lees in barrels, aging on laths before being disgorged in March 2023, without any dosage. Unfined, unfiltered, just a tiny pinch of sulphur. A vintage Champagne, only from the 2017 vintage.
Sébastien Mouzon
Sébastien Leroux, 43, is at the head of Mouzon-Leroux Champagnes, heir to a family whose winegrowing roots go back to the 18th century. He grew up in the vineyards of Verzy, passed his diploma in winegrowing and then returned to the estate in 2002, where he assisted his parents Pascale and Philippe until 2008. At the age of 28, in 2008, he was hit hard by the global crisis, and opened his eyes...
