A blend of 95% Gamay Blanc (which is actually an old massal selection of Chardonnay) and 5% Gordo Blanco (=Moscatel), from organically farmed, dry-farmed vines. The two parcels cover three hectares on sandy soils with decomposed granite, located in the Maule region. Hand-harvested. Vinification: direct pressing and six months of aging in vats for the Chardonnay, while the Moscatel is destemmed and macerated for two weeks. Blended before bottling in France, unfined, unfiltered, with just a micro-dose of sulfur.

Louis-Antoine Luyt was born in the Breton coastal city of St Malo some forty years ago. Following a handful of formative viticultural experiences alongside the likes of Philippe Pacalet and Marcel Lapierre, he finally moved to Chili, and settled in Cauquenès, 400 km south of Santiago de Chile.
