100% País from non-irrigated, organically farmed vines (without certification), planted in the Maule region 400km South of Santiago, on a total of 1.2 hectare. Manual harvest. Vinification: total destemming, crushing, fermentation in open wooden vats, two weeks of maceration before racking and pressing. 10 months of aging in amphorae, before being transported in bulk to France for bottling in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Bottled without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.

Louis-Antoine Luyt was born in the Breton coastal city of St Malo some forty years ago. Following a handful of formative viticultural experiences alongside the likes of Philippe Pacalet and Marcel Lapierre, he finally moved to Chili, and settled in Cauquenès, 400 km south of Santiago de Chile.
