Blend: 31% Pais, 28% Legno Duro (a.k.a Carignan), 26% Serine, 11% Muscat and 4% Noirin-Merlou, from non-irrigated, organically-farmed vines, planted in the Maule region 400km South of Santiago. Manual harvest. Natural vinification, fermentation in open vats, 10 months of ageing, before being transported in bulk to France for bottling in Nuits-Saint-Georges, hence "Las Noches de San Jorge" on the label! Bottled without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.

Louis-Antoine Luyt was born in the Breton coastal city of St Malo some forty years ago. Following a handful of formative viticultural experiences alongside the likes of Philippe Pacalet and Marcel Lapierre, he finally moved to Chili, and settled in Cauquenès, 400 km south of Santiago de Chile.
