A single varietal cuvée of Vermentino, also called Rolle in other parts of France. The vines are exposed North-West and South, in a windy climate, on a clay-granite soil. The estate is certified by Ecocert since 2002 and the vineyard has been grown biodynamically since 2006. Vinification: controlled yields, manual harvests, whole bunches, fermentation and aging in clay amphorae during 8 months. Natural clarification, light filtration.

Yves Canarelli took over his grandfather’s vines in 1993. In 20 years, he has shifted his viticulture over to biodynamics, and reintroduced ancient grape varietals like Cargaghjolu Nero, which nearly went extinct in the 1960s.
