An almost forgotten grape variety from Figfari, this stunning cuvée is refreshing, elegant and very fine, with excellent length. The aromatics is lively, carried by notes of white-fleshed fruit and citrus, with a mineral and saline backbone.

100% Bianco Gentile from vines grown biodynamically since 2006, planted on clay-granitic soils, facing southeast. Harvested by hand. Vinification: direct pressing, low-intervention vinification, 8 months of aging, half in concrete vats and half in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled on the estate, without fining or filtration.

Yves Canarelli took over his grandfather’s vines in 1993. In 20 years, he has shifted his viticulture over to biodynamics, and reintroduced ancient grape varietals like Cargaghjolu Nero, which nearly went extinct in the 1960s.
