Corsica
Costa Nera - 2020 - Yves Canarelli
Clos Canarelli
A very dark juice, dense, concentrated, with spicy notes. The fruit is very present, intense, especially with the blackcurrant. This is a perfectly balanced wine. One of the most beautiful bottles in all of Corsica... that will age so beautifully, so be patient!

100% Cargaghjolu Neru, an indigenous grape variety from Corsica, which gives small compact bunches. The vines are grown biodynamically, planted on a clay-granitic terroir, in a windy climate, with a North-West exposure. Manual harvest, sorting of the bunches in the vineyard and in the cellar, on a sorting table. Total destemming, light crushing of the berries, indigenous yeasts. Aged for 18 months in 500-litre demi-muids. Neither fined, nor filtered.
