A nose that evolves beautifully in the glass – undergrowth, spices, lavender, and aniseed… it ticks all the boxes of a traditional Burgundy, yet with an extra touch of exoticism that is typical of BK Wines. The palate is concentrated and elegant, with fine bitter notes on the finish.

A 100% Pinot Noir cuvée from vines planted at 300 metres altitude in the village of Lenswood in southeast Australia. The grapes are harvested by hand, macerated for one month in whole bunches, fermented with indigenous yeasts, followed by gentle pressing, 10 months of maturation in French oak barrels that have seen two to three wines, and 10% new barrels. Neither filtered nor fined, the barrels are blended at bottling, with a microdose of sulphur to protect the wine.
