Tsitska White - 2022 - Gela Patalishvili
Pheasant's Tears
Highly aromatic nose with notes of tangerine, shelled almonds, and flint. On the palate: a dry, fruity, and mineral wine, incredibly digestible, pure, and refreshing, with a finish that lingers on dried fruits. A more classic vinification style in the land of amphorae.

100% Tsitska, direct pressing—a rarity in Georgia, the land of orange wines and maceration! This cuvée comes from organically farmed vines, untouched by chemicals, planted in the Imereti region in the west of the country, hand-harvested. Vinification takes place at Pheasant's Tears winery in Kakheti, in the east. Direct pressing, followed by fermentation and aging in qvevris—ancient clay amphorae buried in the ground. Bottled without fining or filtration, and no sulfur added.
