A 100% Frappato cuvée, from a single parcel known as Bombolieri, farmed biodynamically and planted facing the Serra San Bartolo, in the southeast of the island, on 15 cm of light coloured sand over a solid layer of limestone. Arianna works her parcel here with tremendous precision. Manual harvest on the first 10 days of October. The winemaker’s vinification here is also as precise as ever: 20 days of maceration, pressing, maturation in Slavonian oak barrels that have seen several wines, and just a microdose of sulphur at bottling.
Arianna Occhipinti organically cultivates 10 ha of vines and 15 ha of olive trees in the south of Sicily, near Vittoria. A dynamic young woman, cheerful and passionate, she’s a pure child of Sicily.
