Cocciuto Rosso - 2022 - Clémentine Bouvéron et Gian Marco Antonuzi
Azienda Le Coste
"The choice to experiment with amphora was driven by the curiosity to try such an important container full of history, trying to enhance the fruity component that our soils already fully characterize." It's fruity, deep, mineral, and very beautiful!

A blended cuvée of Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Merlot, coplanted on light, tuffous soils, rich in minerals, in the Pitigliano area. Manual harvest. Vinification: natural, without additives, total destemming, three weeks of maceration of the berries with some crushing and pumping over. One year of aging in a large 500-liter amphora. Bottled at the estate, without fining or filtration, no added sulphur!

Gian Marco Antonuzi
Gian Marco Antonuzi and Clémentine Bouvéron live in Gradoli, 150 km north of Rome. Clémentine studied oenology and Gian trained under such renowned vignerons as Barral and Pacalet . The young couple settled here in 2004 and started their estate from scratch, the land uncultivated but for a grove of olive trees abandoned for the last 20 years – good news when one doesn't want to inherit...
