Powerful nose of peach, orange zest, raisins, hazelnut, honey, and flowers. The palate is mineral, structured, dense, tannic, and above all, very complex. The aromatics unfold and reveal themselves with each glass. Best opened 30 minutes before tasting, worth decanting.

100% Grecanico from 15-year-old vines, organically grown, planted at 230 meters altitude in the town of Vittoria, southeast Sicily. The soils are red, calcareous, and siliceous, with clay and siliceous sands. Guyot pruning, with all vineyard work done by hand, including the harvest. Natural winemaking, this orange wine macerates and ferments on skins in terracota amphorae. Gentle pressing, aged in these same amphorae. Bottled with just a micro-dose of sulfur.
Giusto Occhipinti
Giusto Occhipinti is Arianna ’s uncle, but above all he is her mentor. He founded this vineyard in 1980 with two friends. From the first letters of their three names (Cilia, Occhipinti, Strano) came the name of Domaine COS.
