A cuvée born from a meticulous selection of Greghetto Rosso, one of Sangiovese’s parent varieties. Grapes from old vines, mainly planted on the Il Terrazzo parcel. Hand-harvested and naturally vinified with no compromises: whole bunches, daily punch-downs, over a month of maceration. Gentle pressing, about 3 years of aging in 500L barrels, then over 5 years of bottle maturation in the estate’s cellar.
Gian Marco Antonuzi
Gian Marco Antonuzi and Clémentine Bouvéron live in Gradoli, 150 km north of Rome. Clémentine studied oenology and Gian trained under such renowned vignerons as Barral and Pacalet . The young couple settled here in 2004 and started their estate from scratch, the land uncultivated but for a grove of olive trees abandoned for the last 20 years – good news when one doesn't want to inherit...
