A 100% Nero d'Avola cuvée, from 35-year-old vines grown organically and planted at an altitude of 280 metres on a soil of limestone sand. Natural vinification: a 25-day maceration with indigenous yeasts, and juices handled by gravity. Matured for 24 months in large 30 hl Austrian oak casks that have seen several wines, neither filtered nor fined. Bottled at the Estate with a tiny dose of sulfur.
Arianna Occhipinti organically cultivates 10 ha of vines and 15 ha of olive trees in the south of Sicily, near Vittoria. A dynamic young woman, cheerful and passionate, she’s a pure child of Sicily.
