Tony Bornard, neighbour of the famous Pierre Overnoy, is the other great natural winemaker of the village of Pupillin. A 100% Trousseau cuvée, from vines grown on red marls and limestone. Organic farming, manual harvest, natural vinification without inputs, two weeks of maceration, gentle pressing, aged in casks that have seen several wines, for one year. Unfined, unfiltered, zero added sulfites.
Tony Bornard
Tony Bornard is the son of the famous Jura figurehead Philippe Bornard , today retired. They are neighbours of the famous Pierre Overnoy, andhey reside in the oldest building in the village of Pupillin. Tony struck out on his own to quietly create his estate as well in 2013. He then took over the family estate from his father in 2017, merging it together with the estate he’d personally...
