Ploussard Point Barre - 2022 - Tony Bornard
Domaine Bornard
A very recognizable nose for this grape variety: fresh red fruits, soft spices, with strawberry and raspberry the dominant notes. Palate: fluid, smooth, very drinkable, but also a very nice bottle to lay down.

A 100% Poulsard cuvée from 40-year-old vines farmed organically and planted on red and white marls, facing southwest. Vinification by infusion: alternating layers of marc and juice in the same vat, the marc remains immersed without punching down or pumping over during one month of maceration. Pressing is slow and gentle to preserve the fruit, followed by one year of maturation. Bottled at the Estate, without fining or filtration, and zero added sulphur.
