A blend of several varieties, with Mourvèdre as the primary grape, from vines farmed organically and planted on the estate’s finest parcel of slate soils – a vineyard site known as "Bouzigues". The grapes are harvested by hand, with low yields of 20 hecto/ha. The vinification is natural with a long maceration of 4 to 5 weeks, manual punching of the cap, followed by three years of maturation, one part in terracotta amphorae and the other in barrels that have seen several wines. A cuvée produced only in the best vintages, and only in small quantities.

Olivier Binet and Pierre Jacquet settled in Faugères in 1999 to found their 9-hectare estate, but only seven years later did they finally decide they were ready to release their first bottles!
