A very light red from a blend of majority of Cinsault with a bit of Syrah, grown organically on no-till parcels cultivated with agroforestry and hand-harvested. Low yields. Natural vinification: very short maceration for the Syrah, direct pressing for the Cinsault. The two grapes are blended at the end of fermentation and briefly aged in tanks. Bottled at the Domaine, unfined, unfiltered, with a pinch of sulphur (30 mg/hl of total SO2).

Sara Lombardi and Charles Mackay are at the helm of Domaine Obrière (meaning "worker, artisan" in Occitan) in Béziers, Occitanie. A couple in life and in the vines: he, a Franco-Scottish graduate in economics and sustainable development, and she, an Italo-French expert in social law. Though the vineyard path was distant at first, their deep desire to work with the land brought them together....
