A few words from the estate: “The nose progressively delivers a multitude of scents: fresh leather, zan, jasmine, blackcurrant buds, raspberry. The ample, spherical palate is carried by masterful tannins and tension.” Decanting is recommended in its youth.

50% Carignan, 20% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache, 10% Syrah and Cinsault from 25- to 30-year-old vines grown organically on a terroir of limestone marls over siliceous clay. Harvested by hand, low yields of 12 hl/ha. Whole-cluster vinification, two weeks of maceration in open vats, without extraction. The juices are moved by gravity, 18 months of ageing, including 12 months on fine lees in 12 hl, 31 hl and demi-muid barrels. Unfined, very light filtration, just a micro-dose of sulfur, for a total SO2 of 15 mg/l.
